I don't think it's significantly different given the portal. The kid goes in the portal and can then be contacted. And assuming you're talking about Stanford, they aren't cut until after 20/21.

So a guy who presumably was going to graduate from Stanford pursues MMA as a career move? That's not something I would publicize if I were Stanford.
