Not good. Three of the four top kids on the team expected to compete this season (Humphreys, Weiler & Pretzel) goners. And none of the few highly ranked frosh panned out. Ugh.

Humphreys and Weiler were expected to compete? For Lehigh? I never expected that....

I will say McGonagle, Ruth, Logan, Lawrence lack of appearance or success to any degree has me concerned.... and everyone is dealing with covid, not just Lehigh.... the ones wrestling arent just losing, they are losing to very average D1 wrestlers....

Maybe you didn't but I - in my naivety - did. Didn't expect Weiler to transfer out and figured Humphreys, who was expected to red shirt, would compete once it was determined that this would be a "free year". Didn't realize he had a season ending injury.

How will the brackets work at EIWAs? Will it be random draw for byes; or 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9, with winners into quarters?

Lehigh could still have 6 Finalists at depleted EIWA. Few points at NCAA. 1 RD12. Development year. Lots of work needed in off-season. Primary attack and bottom escapes. On we go.

I lost some time due to this #>?+(&$~";%*!!! winter we're having... so I'll be at work while the tournament is going on.
(I'll furtively be checking in from time to time w/ eyes behind my head at ALL times! :P )

I hope the B&W can pull a rabbit out of their hats on Friday. ;)
