Game Notes

We await

How KenPom See It

@
SIENA (2-2) and ranked 241stt out of MAAC
LU wins by 1 (70-69) 55% chance

Siena...last time out

Holy Cross, presently 3-2, had little trouble downing Siena 57-45 on a neutral court this past Sunday. Take a look………….

Around the PL Tonight (Tues)

Navy @ Morgan State
Holy Cross @ Albany
Hampton @ Loyola

….and Tomorrow Night (Wed)

Colgate @ Syracuse
Drexel @ BU
SUNY Maritime @ Army

Say What?!

Lehigh is 9th in the Nation when comes to defending the “2,” giving-up just 38.1% of the opposing team’s attempts. In the Miami game, we gave up just 9 of 29 from in close or 31.0% of the Hurricane tries.

Siena may be in no rush to shoot tomorrow night. Their average possession lasts 22.7 seconds. That’s good for 2nd slowest in the nations. Our “D” had better be patient.

When Siena is ready to let it fly, however, no doubt it’ll be from behind the line. After four games, 56% of their shots come from deep. They lead the Nation in that regard.

What Lies Ahead

What will undoubtedly be a well-rested and 14th ranked (5-0) Kansas State squad awaits us out in Manhattan, Kansas on Saturday. Tip is planned for 4:30 EST. The Wildcats were crowned champs of the Paradise Jam following their 15-point win over Missouri on Monday.

game notes show the latest mid-major poll, interesting that BU and BU are both receiving votes, while Lehigh (picked first in league poll) is not, hmmm

Maybe the teams we beat suck? And Holy Cross was some what competitive against Michigan, bothered Providence a lot, and beat every body else. Maybe part of it.

No info on the MM poll, but Joe Lunardi's rankings look kinda nice to me:

I have no problem with us not being ranked, but to see other PL teams getting votes and us not bothers me
