Game 6: KANSAS STATE

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

LT 0 for 8. . Neither he nor Leufroy shot well. Enjoyed the Wilsons and Bennett.

Scoring / Reb. Class
Sr. (KL and LT)....2/6
Jr. ....23/7
So....25/16
Fr....8/1

Bright future for sure.

Oh yeah, KL and LT combined for 31/12 vs. Miami. Chaulk it up as "just one of those nights."
Doubt we'll see a night like this again from our seniors.

Remember when some of us were calling for NL to start after JK's slow start? No more. Mr. Karnick looks quite comfortable now thank you, after pulling down 16 bosrds and scoring 21 over his last two.

Maybe Pomeroy knows a thing or two about point spreads, afterall.

K State plays some very tight D, gave our guys no quarter all night, and #32 is very impressive

Probably deserves a thread of its own, but too tired to open and title one.

Don't look now but here comes Bucky. Down early, the Bison scored 49 in the second hslf and beat a good Vermomt team today. The Catamounts had previously downed BU amd Yale.

League play begins Jan. 2. Should be fin.

I was a little disappointed as that was actually a winnable game. K-State didn’t impress and did not look like the #12 team in the nation. Poor second half and bad game for some of our more talented players. K-State had the one big white guy, we clearly couldn’t handle, but outside of him, I wasn’t too impressed with their talent level.

Needs to get some consistency out of our big 3, KL, LT and PA.

Not sure about that 90. Really the talent gap between K St and us was much less than I expected.. To me that does not require a conclusion that K St isnt that good. It may just be we are pretty good. :D
Of course the truth lies somewhere in between. Where exactly remains to be seen. ;)

I think that K state plays the kind of D that will carry them pretty far, and I agree with Rich on our talent level being pretty good too, and depth the best I can remember

I’ve been watching a lot of early hoops in the power conferences. I think teams like Duke, UNC, Gonzaga, Kansas would demolish K State. K State was beatable to me because their talent level wasn’t that superior to ours, they weren’t very big, or athletic. The good teams outsize and out athletic the mid majors.
