Andy Coen has retired

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Thinking about this , I think it is important to remember Andy for all that he accomplished and not for what he could not do the last few years due to this disease.

Amen. I wish Coach Coen all the best. This news puts wins and losses in perspective. Hopefully, his contributions to the program for 13 years will be viewed favorably as time goes by. Truly mixed emotions on this news. Certainly not happy now that I know why.

No-one wanted Andy to leave this way. Just terribly sad.

Andy can look back over his career at Lehigh with great fondness. I wish him well in the future especially in his battle with dementia. I'm certain that tributes from his old players will be forthcoming.

Hopefully now everyone can understand Sterrett's reaction to the heckler alluded to earlier. The game of life is not always measured in wins and losses.

Andy has always been a class act. Not the way a coach's tenure should end

Andy is a nice guy, and I wish him the best in his fight. Kudos to Joe and the Lehigh Admins on making the right decision. The program can now move forwards.
