With the likes of KL (.529), PA (.490), JC (.421), and LT (.354) there’s seemingly little to worry about when it comes to knocking down the 3’s. Overall, the team ranks 5th in the nation in long-distant shooting. What concerns me, and I trust some who follow the team closely, would be are occasional lapses on the defensive end (chalk that up to “its early” – only 8 games played and player communications) and secondly our rebounding- especially on the offensive end - and with it the dearth of 2nd chance points. No better time than tomorrow to address those concerns and walk away with a win going into exams. Here’s hoping we don’t take this team lightly. They did, after all, hang-up 71 points on St. Johns and 77 on Maryland, albeit in losing affairs.

I probably will be at this game. Mount St. Mary's hasn't had a game so far this season closer than 10 points, though this is only the Mountaineers' second home game this season. Lehigh has to make sure they stay focused and not take MSM took lightly.

Lehigh has played well at both ends, particularly on the defensive end, and leads Mount St. Mary’s 42-24 at halftime. It has been a team effort; lots of guys are playing solid.

Agreed Chip. 1st half a joy seeing what we can be. 2nd half also showed what we can be but not in a good way..The stifling D of 1st made a very ltd appearnce in the 2nd. Still too many TOs but we rebounded well and hit FTs.

Not only down to , under. We gave up 54 pts in 2nd. Held them to 24 in 1st. They are a really bad team.

This was one of those games where the team that actually won the game to some degree feels like they lost. After starting the second half strong and taking a 26 point lead (57-31) about 5 minutes into the half, Lehigh played unsteady on the offensive end and indifferent on the defensive end. Some of that was due to Mount St. Mary's playing a full court press that rattled the Mountain Hawks and some of it was caused by better offensive spacing by MSM. To their credit the Mountaineers also shot their free throws extremely well in the 2nd half (which was dominated by the officials calling the game very tight and whistling a number of questionable fouls on both teams). Still, there's no way on Earth Lehigh should have allowed the game to get down to two possessions in the final few minutes. Mount St. Mary's cut the Lehigh lead to 5 points (73-68) with 2+ minutes left before the Mountain Hawks finally adjusted to the press. Kyle Leufroy, who led Lehigh with 21 points, deserves significant credit for making many free throws late and drawing a charge with about 15 seconds left that essentially sealed the game.

Didn't see the game, but from what I read, it appeared the team lost its focus after taking such a larger lead. Hopefully, a lesson learned for a young team.

why were LTs minutes down and MW starting? LT dinged or coaches decision?
