Re: Mat-Town Open I

Karam will be meeting Glorioso, who I hope isn't into cracking ribs and gouging eyes like his "Funny Thing ...."namesake, in the semi's.

Re: Princeton Open

Any news on Luke Karam? It was a pretty nasty impact he took landing square on his back with all the weight of the other wrestler on top of him also. He's signed up for Mat Town along with about 6 others. On my site. He may wrestle Lock Haven's Colin Glorioso who brings to mind Miles Gloriosus from...

Hard to believe, but I'll give HH's steaks a try next time I'm in Princeton and will report back.

Re: For Cheesesteak Lovers

**** Maybe it is because I spent 30+ years in the Lehigh Valley but I much prefer the Lehigh Valley version of the Cheese Steak (complete with tomato sauce), ala The Brass Rail, than the True Philly Steaks found at Genos and Pats. Make mine 2 with extra cheese, fried onions, pickles and sauce. You ...

Somehow I'm not surprised that Legger piped in when the subject was food.

For Cheesesteak Lovers

Had the "Philly" at Big Daddy's (Pembroke Road) yesterday and it was very good - pretty comparable to what you'd get at a top place in Philly and much better than what I was served at Crossroads the weekend before. Friendly and accommodating owner/cook as well. When I told him I was in tow...

Re: Early Report Card

So far, this team doesn't look as good as last year's. 125 is way up, 157 is a slightly down, 165 is down, 184 is way down and 285 is slightly down. EiWAs will be a four team battle. Maybe make top 20 at Nationals.

Re: Paetzell & Pomrinca get mentions...

A little premature, this article. https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/2019/11/pomrinca-styling-up-success-for-lehigh-wrestling-team.html. If he's in such great shape, wouldn't it make more sense to push the action and try to tire out his opponent than to stand around waiting for something to hap...

Re: Princeton Dual

I had the misfortune of being there. Princeton won all the close ones. Losing LU guys couldn't finish their shots. They should carefully observe Kutler, who finished ALL his shots. Pom lost to a kid whom McGonagle beat rather easily a few weeks ago, if I remember correctly. Isn't this the third time...

Re: Princeton Dual

Maybe, but more difficult because they'll have to finish ahead of two or three very tough teams and not just one. And this is different from how we did it the past two years .... how exactly? Huh? I'm not talking about LU, I'm talking about Princeton and saying that it will be tougher for them to w...
