Re: Clarion Open

**** Overall a Good Day at the Clarion Open. All 4 of our guys wrestled To Their Seeds, against some pretty good competition, (2,1,1,2).

Re: Clarion Open

**** As Oracle always says: "Horsepower is The Key". Mendez was bigger and more muscular. Luke is potentially good enough to AA at 141, but I am reminded of Tim The Tool Man: He needs More Power.

**** To quote the Mookster: "Same game, expect the same results. Dave is a friend but he just cannot find anything good to say about most things Lehigh related. It is like what Tony Soprano said about the woman with a ham under her arm, who complains she as no bread.

Re: Brown and White Intrasquad

The sleeper bout is Dubler vs Brignola, then Federici/Grungo, Stanich/Repos, Roz/Skell. I just LU would run true wrestle-offs like Iowa State and Ohio State with brackets. Fans would love that, even if they didn't get to see the bouts publicly. ****I agree. Brignola has always been a gamer but as l...

Re: Intrasquad Event

****When I lived in the Lehigh Valley I never missed a wrestle off. Like Frenchie and a number of others I no longer can attend the Intrasquad event. I now live 9 1/2 hours away. I hope they do stream the event on Flo as I never miss a match that way. Lehigh Wrestling along with Musikfest and Good C...

I've now had two there and both were excellent. High end Philly quality. The place also has a site online and has been written up elsewhere on line. Do a little searching and you might find a good place not too far away. Good luck. **** Whiz: I belong to 2 PA Cheesesteak webpages, so I have done a ...

Re: 141

Stanich unless he eats an awful lot of cheesesteaks. ****You can never eat too many cheesesteaks, especially now that The Brass Rail has re-opened at the Atown Fairgrounds (Thurs, Fri and Sat). I will have 2 with onions, sauce and X cheese and pickles, with an order of pierogies. Unfortunately, I n...

Otherwise, LU would have had multiple champions when Sergei Belaglozov was coaching. **** Great story about Sergei. I was at practice one afternoon in 1992. There was some joking going on about Sergei's size (about 5'2-3"), being led by our Heavyweight AA John Morris (250+ lbs from VA), about ...

Re: Penn State

Some good cheesesteaks to be had in Allentown. Zandy's Not the same without the Malone's roll, but still good. The old Brass Rail was pretty good, too. **** The Brass Rail Was The Best! I have heard they have re-opened at the Atown Fairgrounds. I cannot confirm this, but if so That Is The Place!
