Re: 4 Weeks Out, Make a Prediction
The NCAA rules seem a bit silly on this issue. It is fine for D3 programs to put one sport at the D1 level, like Hopkins in lacrosse or NYU in fencing, but the other way around is not OK. Can't put one sport at the D3 level.

Re: 4 Weeks Out, Make a Prediction
Maybe most logical thing would be for PL to just drop football.
Loyola, American and Boston U already don't play
Navy, Army play elsewhere
Fordham, Georgetown not really in PL
So, only really affects Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, HC and Colgate.

Re: 4 Weeks Out, Make a Prediction
It's becoming fairly obvious that PL football is falling by the wayside, even at the FCS level. The best Lehigh can hope for is a PL title, but they can't compete with the Colonial, Ivy, etc. anymore. (For all of the reasons stated over on the football threads). I wouldn't mind seeing a drop to Divi...

4 Weeks Out, Make a Prediction
28 days until we tip for real.
Prediction time ....
I’ll go first, Nic Lynch will be Rookie of the Year in the PL.

Re: #3 Reed Fenton
I think he will be better than his dad. I think he could make some level of All-PL during his career. Worse case scenario, he's a starter at some point in his career. In those years, I must have seen his dad play 20+ games, but I don't really recall much. I seem to remember him backing up Scottie La...

Re: #3 Reed Fenton
There is a ton of video out there on Reed Fenton, primarily on the maxpreps site. Several games, and some compilation videos. I am pretty happy with what I see on there. He can score at all 3 levels, solid handle, and looks like he can play 1 or 2. Primarily a wing, and has a nice stroke, both on th...

Re: #3 Reed Fenton
He went to Iowa on an unofficial visit. Sounded more like a courtesy since his father knew McCaffrey, when he was at Lehigh and recruited him. Not so sure they were that interested in him. Also took an unofficial to LSU. But, long list of offers, so decent catch. Seems like a bright kid, and academi...

Re: Basketball Update
Sedore no longer appears on the roster. ACL tear freshman year then a re-rupture as a sophomore. Guess it was too much to come back from, although he got a little run last year. Tough career. See pickinsplinters article about him.

Re: Basketball Update
Strange. Seems like the most common basketball injury these days is the Jones fracture of the 5th metatarsal with screw placement (CJ, Ben Simmons, Zhaire Smith, Durant, etc). That is usually 6-8 weeks non-weight bearing/boot and say, twice that in rehab after cast off. 3-4 months total. Even if sup...
