Wrestle-Offs Thursday Night!

Although never the 'final' decision, Thursday's wrestle offs should provide some fireworks at several weight classes. Transfer former All-American Connor Schram, while given the inside track, could face some spirited challenge; a wilde open 149 weight class due to Schuyler's injury will be of great ...

Re: [LehighSports] Hall of Fame member and two sport standout John Hill '72 passes away

The most successful professional football player to come out of Lehigh. 14 years in the NFL and named captain of the New Orleans Saints his last 5-6 years there and named to their 'wall of fame'. An amazing athlete. He set shot put records at Lehigh that lasted four decades.

Re: Bucknell

Depth chart to smithereens. Might as well throw the names in a hat and toss it in the air. Could it be any worse? Not supposed to rain Saturday, so maybe we'll get 3-4,0000 to show up? Sometimes train wrecks and fires draw a crowd. It will be interesting just to see how 'into' the game the players a...

Re: Holy Cross

What is so concerning is the size of the score differential. Except for Georgetown, we haven't even been in sniffing range of being competitive. How can one say the kids continue to compete when losing by 40, 50 and 60 margins (and where a 20 point loss (Villanova and Penn) looks good? I cannot beli...

Re: Holy Cross

True. When you look at those scores in the mid 60's many were not blowouts. The lopsided scores are mind numbing. I turned on the game when I got home from a meeting and saw 35-0. Turned off and totally expected another 50+total. This is embarrassing and I cannot believe Joe will put up with this. A...

Re: Holy Cross

Andy talked about talking to his kids about "leaving a legacy"....Well, if they go 1-10 their legacy will be the losingest team in the history of Lehigh football. NO team has ever lost 10 games in one season. The 'desert years' were horrible and a couple teams were winless, BUT they only l...

Weather forecast not very good either. In the 40's with rain or some flurries. Not conducive for offense...as if anything this year has been.

Re: Hoyas

I think Cecchini has done a heck of a job in the wasteland known as Valpo. Very similar t what faced Fred Dunlap in 1965 when he arrived here. Took him until 1971 to have his first winning season, but he set the foundation for what we have seen for the past 47 years. Should certainly be a serious co...
