Re: Fordham
Everyone wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. Some of the talk on here is influenced too much by what is seen on TV, social media, etc. about "what it takes" to be a 'big time' winning program. Well. the PL schools will never be 'big time' football programs. We do not have the p...

Re: PRINCETON
We are not 'behind the scene", but currently our perception of what is occurring warrants looking into. I would hope Sterrett is doing that. One has to see some major issues in the way the team is no performing and the coach not perceived to be reacting to the problem. We certainly do not want ...

Re: PRINCETON
Yes, I was there for John's punt, but it did not "soar higher than the press box". It was a line drive that went about 50 yards and then rolled for another 38 for the record grand total. There is no question that Princeton's team was so far superior in skill and talent level, but it was sa...

Re: PRINCETON
I do not like the whining in the paper. If not willing to accept the differences, go home and play in a different sandbox. PL/Lehigh needs to determine whether we want to remain a D-I program. Playing with the bigger boys (not the biggest) means having to pay the freight to compete. The schools need...

Re: PRINCETON
I think the PL has to have a "summit" of some sort and decide what they want to do about football. If we don't want to spend the money to 'run with the bulls', then make the decision and go back to D-II and the Pioneer should join us. Either that or drop football as a league sport and let ...

Re: PRINCETON
I don't think the OC is capable of doing anything other than basic stuff. Very few 'moving parts' to confuse defenses. Granted we don't have many 'gamebreakers' but Princeton and Penn have showed us what crisp execution does. I think a decision needs to be made, now, about next season so plans can b...

Re: PRINCETON
Agreed. It is apparent this year's OOC schedule is tougher than last years. So the real measuring stick will be when league play starts. If we run the PL table, or go 5-1, with a close loss to Colgate, then there will be no blatant basis to make major changes. If 'playing up' in the OOC makes you b...

When you have a 30 billion dollar endowment, you have a little more 'flexibility' to do things..

Re: PRINCETON
Hopefully, he gets his snaps down. Well over half at Penn were at Mayes' head or above. I really think that had some part in Mayes' dysfunctional performance. When you are not getting protection AND having to worry about where the snap is going, it is tough to focus on where all of your receivers ar...
