Re: Lehigh picked 6th in Preseason Poll

I sense measurable improvement. I slightly disagree with the prognostication. My rankings would be: 1. Laughyette 2. Colgate 3. Holy Cross 4. Fordham 5. Lehigh 6. Georgetown 7. Bucknell If we can stay healthy, I think we can win 3 or 4 league games--knocking off a couple of the 'top four'. We came c...

Re: Tradition Never Graduates

Sorry, but I disagree. I prefer watching football in the afternoon and enjoying the ability to tailgate before and after the game. Moreover, while adding lights is the easy part, the difficult part is managing a wide open area of fields, parking lots, trees and roads in the dark. Goodman's setting ...

Re: Week-End Salvo

One last thought Thinking outside the box with no inside information: Malyke Hines has always been a good wrestler for Lehigh that has never quite broken through. He relies a bit on funk but to me didn't have quite enough horse power to finish. There is some speculation that he has really bulked up...

Re: COMMIT. #2 Derek Morgan. QB

True, but nice to see we're in the game and being looked at. A lot of this depends on what the student is looking for. If he has parents who are serious about going to a school where he will get a serious degree, then, we have shot. ("You mean I got a shot?")

Re: 2025 Recruits

Boyertown has always been a baseball power going back to the 1950's. Always sound fundamentally and for years, was one of those rare teams that won with pitching and small ball. Don't know if the softball program has mirrored the baseball over the past few decades since I moved up here, but if there...

Too bad he didn't "bloom" earlier. We could have used him more over the past few years.

Re: Dominic Parolin

Good to hear. He was a tough guy under the glass. Hopefully, one of these newbies will have a similar 'tough as nails" attitude.
