Today Tyler Berger announced his retirement from wrestling and will focus on transitioning to MMA. No word yet on whether this means he is stepping down from his assistant coach role at Penn or not.

I don't know. There's got to be a reason HALF of the ivy men's wrestling coaches have fled within the past two seasons. I get the feeling something bad is brewing in the ivy conference, whatever may be happening behind the scenes.

Are these types of funds (NIL collective, LVWC etc) able to be designated to men's wrestling, or will resources like this be halved going forward and split between men's and women's wrestling?

I suppose many of you already heard, but Aaron Brooks took out David Taylor, and Spencer Lee is truly back, and is the guy at 57 (who will still need to qualify the weight in May). Times are changing.

No way, not when it comes to 165-184. Take whatever we can get. A tate samuelson type would only benefit the "culture" because we would not lose winnable duals due to the "gap". Even a Brignola type who will fight tough and hover in the 20s. The need is extreme. Maybe Wilt and Sc...

Same - womens wrestling isnt my thing personally but gotta say it's pretty cool Jimenez is coming to Lehigh, she looks like an Olympic contender already. i could see going to a womens dual to watch her compete.
