Lehigh Valley Heads South for Weekend Tilt Allentown, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks travel to Jacksonville, Florida for this weekends matchup against the Sharks on Saturday, May 12th inside Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Fans can live stream the game via YouTube. The Steelhawks (0-4) have a new Head Coach (Danton Barto) and a new Quarterback (Bryan Morris) this week as they look to right the ship against the defending league champion Jacksonville Sharks (2-3). Lehigh Valley had a forgettable outing last week in Carolina and moves on with someone new slinging the ball. Offensively, their best player has been kicker Spencer Hotaling who leads the team in scoring (19 points). With a new coach and new game plan for this week, players need to make smarter decisions and compete for four quarters on both sides of the ball to have a shot at their first victory. Jacksonville has Adrian McPherson under center, an arena veteran and former CFL quarterback. In his first game with the team, he threw for 163 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions on 52.9% completion rate. He has a new receiver in town in former Steelhawk Tom Gilson, who had five catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns in his first game paired with McPherson. Facing a team with six sacks and five interceptions in their first four games, the Steelhawks will need to protect their quarterback and take care of the ball. The Steelhawks return home after this game for a Sunday evening matchup against the Columbus Lions – May 20th, 6:00pm – on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center. Single game tickets, three game packs and 2018 season ticket flex packages are on sale now. Season ticket flex plans start as low as $40! Call 610-224-4625 to reserve your seats. All Steelhawks games are played on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center. Visit the team web site at www.LVSteelhawks.com for the latest updates and recent Steelhawks news.
