In my effort to introduce fans to incoming freshmen who are knocking it out of the park in their senior year in HS, here are the stats this year for Marcus

He has pitched 30.1 innings, with a .68 ERA , striking out 55 batters during that span (#4 in PA). In his last game he struck out 16 of the 21 outs in the game while pitching a 4 hitter.

In addition, he is hitting .419 ith 2 doubles and 2 triples.

Marcus Danchision, MMI Prep: The senior has already been the starting pitcher in two District 2 Class A championship games and seems to be a good bet for a third since he has won his three May starts, striking out 13 each time while posting a 1.03 ERA. Also an infielder, Danchision is batting .464 and carries a nine-game hitting streak into the playoffs. In three district semifinal and final starts as a freshman and sophomore, the Lehigh University commit had an 0.75 ERA, including a two-hit shutout of Forest City in the final of his freshman season.

Marcus finishes out a fantastic senior season, losing in the 2nd round of the PIAA Championships. His #s are reminiscent of Mason Black's senior year. Most notable is the 120 K in 67.2 innings. His .449 batting average makes him pretty versatile.

Let's see how that all translate to the next level
