Last night, Paul Reinhard, Morning Call reporter and chronicler of Lafayette football for as long as I remember, died.

Rest in peace, Paul. I'm trying to still gather my thoughts together on this sportswriting legend.

Paul was the real deal and his columns criticizing Lafayette and President Rothkopf helped to shape the debate and finally setting the table for eventual athletic scholarships. He was very friendly with Fran Tavani.
He was regularly seen in the Lafayette Press Box even after he retired from the Call!!
