Alumni connection

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Maybe 12 kids from the Lehigh Valley, including Borda, on this 2005 team (seems like lots of kids from South):

5 this year from Lehigh Valley (I did not expect so few.)

Please feel free to double check me ...

Is it possible we went from 12 locals to 5?

There are diehard opponents of BeCa and Central in the area, but there is also transferring among public schools.
Otherwise wrestling dynasties would not exist.
Kids suddenly enroll somewhere else at a relative’s address. This even happens in Little League.
The two bigger Catholic schools give some prospects a chance to play against tougher competition.
There have been D1 potential kids locally — OL for example — in the past whose only video for recruiters was against much smaller kids in the smaller league. Good kids but not EPC size kids.
There have been many great athletes from the Colonial League but it’s a harder slog to get noticed even now.
I’ve had kids play sports in both leagues.
One went on to play in D1 (not football) from the CL and it took extra work on his part.
