Congratulations to the Lehigh women. They've come a long way since the 1st 2 games of the year.

Over the last few years, the 2 best teams have always been Loyola and Navy with Lehigh 3rd. What a tough draw having all 3 teams in the South and then after beating Navy for 2nd place, the rules change to make them play Navy again.

Lehigh beats Army 10-8 in a game that was closer than it should have been IMO. A 3 goal spurt in about 3 minutes in the 2nd half made it pretty intense. Lehigh only 3-8 in free position shots.

Sondra Dickey was a workhorse once again both offensively (in the first half) and defensively in the 2nd half. She had 3 goals an assist, 6 CT and a bunch of GB. I think she deserves to be an All-American at some level.

Tough start. After getting rid of the jitters in the first half, especially the 1st 15 minutes, Lehigh played Loyola pretty tough only giving up 2 goals in the 2nd half. The difference in this game was certainly the play of the Loyola goalie who I think had something like 12 saves on 18 shouts, many of the really tough saves.

To put things in perspective, Loyola has only lost 2 games in the PL since joining in 2013-2014. Both were to Navy and both were in the playoffs.

This team is young. Losing Dickey and Ladda will be tough but I expect Lehigh to be a real contender for the title for awhile.

Sondra Dickey is indeed awarded a 3rd Team All-American. Lehigh now has 3 athletes given an All-American designation in this convoluted 2020-2021 season and none of them are wrestlers. You don't see that often.
