Lehigh’s full 29 game schedule has just been released. In addition to the non-conference games already mentioned, the Mountain Hawks will also play at Long Island (Sat 12/21) and host D3 Neumann (Sun 12/29). LU will kick off its conference schedule on Thursday 1/2 at home vs Bucknell and finish the regular season at Army on Saturday 3/1.
It appears I may attend as many as four Lehigh games this year, excluding possible Patriot League Tournament games in/near DC. Those games are:
*11/06 (Wed): at Georgetown
*11/30 (Sat): vs Marist
*01/22 (Wed): at American
*02/22 (Sat): at Lafayette

Re: Schedule
The four buy games, UCLA, NU, GU, and Dayton are great for us on several levels. But home out of conference schedule is the worst I can remember. 2 legit tests and two scrimmages doesn’t cut it. Loosing Harry late in the off season probably had a lot to do with it.
Re: Schedule
It appears Georgetown has NO general public tickets for the Wednesday 11/6 Lehigh/Georgetown game at McDonough Gym. I called Lehigh’s ticket office; they didn’t receive a visiting team ticket allotment. I contacted Georgetown’s ticket office; most tickets are allocated to students with only a small number reserved for season ticket holders. I’ve looked at third party ticket resale sites (sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, TickPick, etc.) and they have no tickets available (and have not had tickets available at any point).
This really sucks; I wanted to see Lehigh play Georgetown (located less than 10 miles from where I live) and see them at McDonough, where I’ve never attended a game. Ugh.
At least, barring something unexpected, I’ll be able to buy tickets for and attend the Lehigh/Georgetown football game at Cooper Field tomorrow (Saturday 11/2).

Re: Schedule
I had the same response about tickets for McDonough “Arena”. Georgetown ticket people were polite but simply said no tickets available. As I went to the game at Cooper Field yesterday, pregame gave my wife and I the chance to tour The John Thompson Athletic Center. Very impressive facility for the athletic department and the program’s many accomplishments. McDonough is tucked way in the back and I did get a chance to peak in. It’s basically a large high school gym. And with the popularity of the program I can understand why it only accommodates students and VIP’s. At least the game is on linear cable tv, unlike our opening night this Monday at Northwestern(Peacock!)……..
Does anyone know of a Lehigh Valley Sports bar with Peacock?

Re: Schedule
Georgetown men's basketball typically plays only one, maybe two (and sometimes zero), games per season at McDonough. This season, it is two games. With the other game, it occurs during GU's Thanksgiving break, so most of the crowd for that game will be non-student season ticket holders.jimk72 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 6:55 am I had the same response about tickets for McDonough “Arena”. Incidentally, I asked about Wednesday's Lehigh/Georgetown basketball game when buying a ticket for Saturday's football game. I must be on their radar; it sounded like the young woman who sold me my ticket may have been told by her boss/the ticket office director about my previous email and phone call inquiries, LOL. I'm not keeping my fingers crossed, but even if I can't get into Wednesday's game at least I'll probably see Lehigh play three other times this season. (Also, with the other teams I follow, Howard announced their home game against Drexel on Tuesday 12/17 will start at 4 PM, so I'll need to use some additional work leave I didn't anticipate using if I want to go to that game. Being able to also attend Lehigh/Georgetown would actually create a monkey wrench with using only my "use or lose" leave for those November/December weeknight games in the DC area that I want to go to.)
