2023-2024 Schedule

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

RE: Lehigh's non-conference home schedule

I've said ever since the building was opened 10 years ago that Lehigh should try to schedule a home-and-home with a fairly high profile opponent and play their home game at the PPL Center in Allentown. Use that regional asset to your advantage and drum up more interest in Lehigh basketball.

It looks like I'll probably attend two Lehigh games this season.

One of the following two games:
*01/03 (Wed): at American, 7:00 PM
*01/06 (Sat): at Loyola (MD), 5:00 PM

*02/24 (Sat): at Lafayette, 2:00 PM

I'd love to attend the game at UMBC on Saturday 12/2 (not too far from my neck of the woods), but I'll probably go to the Big Five Classic in Philadelphia that day. (Was really hoping the Lehigh/UMBC game would occur before Thanksgiving.)

I was thrilled when Lehigh played Villanova in Allentown, but they never returned. PSU there would seem logical.

I believe Villanova agreed to that game solely to showcase Darrun Hilliard in his home area. I think he was a senior that year.

A second reason for using PPL was that Villanova’s arena was in the middle of renovations. It was a great night, great crowd, and a competitive game. I totally agree PSU-Lehigh would be a natural for both programs and PPL.
