Well, the women have started out trying to outdo the men in terms of ragged play. Wonder how much running was done during the down time? The legs don’t seem to be there. Missing horribly on threes. 4-22 !! Hopefully, they can regroup, but see no sign of offensive cohesion.

Live by the three; die by the missed threes. That was a game that should have been a “w”. Well, the ones that really count start next week. Should have been a nice wake up call.

Caught the 2nd half. Nobody could hit 3s. Hopefully a blip not a trend. We need Ella and the crew to dominate from 3.

Some observations of the Rider game

Lehigh scored 116 points against Lasalle and won by 46.
Lasalle beat Rider by 38
Lehigh only scored 50 points in regulation.

Ella Stemmer did not start either half. Then went 1-15 shooting, most shots falling short. I suspect getting over illness but have no idea if I am correct,

37 of the 62 shots taken were outside the 3. We are going to lose a lot of games that way.
14 assists and 21 turnovers and it seemed like more.
Addie has suddenly shortened her bench by alot and in both the Pitt and Rider games, the team had no spring in their legs. There are girls on the bench with a lot of talent who could use som p/t

While the trey is nice, I dislike relying upon it as the main weapon. If we don't have big woman to work the inside like we were accustomed these past years, we still need to penetrate and work for 10-15' jumpers and hit the boards. Going for the trey all the time can only be justified if 1) you have several players who can hit them 40-50% and 2) there are some women who will crash for the offensive rebounds.
