Farro and Moran also out. Of the rookies, no Haubert nor Lady Haga, the latter absence expected since Wally (btw, where is he?) has said he's recovering from surgery.

I believe Kutler was excused to keep his bout count done -- an effort to reduce the chance of injury.

Moran limped off the practice mat a couple of weeks ago while I was there. Nothing looked crippling but it didn't look like something that would go away overnight. I expect he'll be back before long.

Somewhere back I read that the staff was sending "everyone who's healthy". Kutler an exception obviously, looks like we had 31 registered out of 38 on the roster. Given the dings that show up in practice, missing just six isn't bad. I'm glad to see that some guys who didn't wrestle last year are competing (Ammerman, McDonald, Cooley).
