If you are ranked #38 in your class that means you are one of 190 guys during any 4/5 year recruiting cycle.

Complete the thought with a little more perspective. It means you're one of the 190 best guys competing for 400 medals over a 5 year cycle. On average, you end up with 2.105 A/A medals.

Are saying that's a positive? 2.1 medals spread over the top 190 guys in any given 5 year cycle....seems like a low percentage play. Maybe your perspective is smarter than mine.

Next season. Lehigh will have 3 guys who were Top 15 as a senior in HS.

I don't know when recruits began being ranked but how many wrestlers has Lehigh gotten that were ranked that high? It may be far less than you think.

I suppose a top 15 weight senior class ranking means 'something' --- but probably very little if you think it's a difference maker of rising as a program. You need your fair share of top 3 senior class. I think you know that.

I think you misunderstood if you were referring to my post.

Next year we will have 3 top15 overall recruits on our roster (Crookham, Beard, RRogers). I'm not sure how many times in our rich history that has happened before.

Top 15s should always hit the AA podium before they graduate.

Pretty decent tracking.

That's why there's a lot of chatter about recruiting. Unless you sign elites every year, you ain't gonna play in the deep end of the pool with the big boys.
