Great. Need LCCC and DeSales to initiate Programs, and Moravian to reinstate theirs. Laughayette I don't care about.
Re: Northampton Area Community College
What’s more significant, perhaps, is the ability of Lehigh to stash potential recruits there like Cornell does with Tompkins county community college.
Re: Northampton Area Community College
I don't see how that helps. If a kid wrestles at NACC it starts his NCAA clock. That's the advantage of TCCC -- they don't offer wrestling, so a potential Cornell recruit can take a few classes there, work out with Spartan every day, wrestle in a dozen tournaments throughout the year, and the next year he's a true freshman by NCAA rules.
Re: Northampton Area Community College
Well, it helps because they wouldn't wrestle there. No CU recruit at TCCC wrestled there....it was for transfer credits to SUNY-Ithaca only. The recruits wrestled at the RTC like you said. No NCAA clock started and none would start for any potential LU recruit if they followed the same model.
Actually, this could be happening now and it hasn't so forget my post.

Re: Northampton Area Community College
The thing is we might, rarely, get a transfer like Bob Lustica (from Montgomery or Bucks CCC,
Or better, Mike Grant.
But really, even if it does not benefit LU wrestling, it Still benefits wrestling

Re: Northampton Area Community College
More recently, the Mutch brothers went to NACC for a year before coming to Lehigh. Some need to extra year for academics but I assume can still train at Lehigh.
As noted as long as they don't join the wrestling team at NACC, their eligibility remains intact.

Re: Northampton Area Community College
That's the Honorable Glenn Grant to you. (Unless you meant Oklahoma NCAA champ Mike Grant- who beat Bob Ferraro in what's called the least watched NCAA final in history)

An affirmative action (that's what they called it before the name developed a bad connotation and so they changed it to DEI) dud.
