Army is solid but that's not enough these days. Seems like they recruit a ton of guys and then the Academy swallows them up. It takes a certain special guy to excel in wrestling at an Academy given weight cutting et al.

For the life of me I don't know why but I believe Humphreys will be back in action. The Army guy at 125 has had some nice wins but has not been consistent. Bailey has a real shot. Pasiuk wins at 174 although Logan has been more competitive since his first bout in Grace Hall a while back. Maybe we see Burkhart? I actually think Lawrence has the best style for Pasiuk. Two cement luggers. Don't know about ya'all but I'm encouraged by Frinzi stepping up at 165. He's definitely giving a good account of himself.

And you may send your '141 is an open weight' money to my home address. Boo-Yah!

Don't be surprised if Lane goes @125 since he's a departing senior.

I would be considering the size of the leg brace he was wearing at the ASU match.

Senior Night is a ridiculous event. In all sports.

Lane could get a sixth year, if he wants. Which I doubt he wants

The for certain seniors are Samuelson, Humphreys, and Sisselberger, although the Lacrosse team is at Towson in the afternoon.

I assume the guys listed SR/Soph will return. At least 1 more year. I suppose 1 or 2 might want a 2 year grad school . wrestling experience

Meyer Is Sr/Jr, but I assume he is physically done.

Burkhart and Eli Jones are the guys I see SR/Jr

Lehigh has 23 varsity teams with about 6 departing seniors per team. That's 138 blankets and flower bouquets.

I think Mookie is just jealous because no one ever gave him a flower bouquet.

Question - even if Josh wrestles all the remaining bouts, will he have enough to get the EIWA an AQ? I think there are 3 things that you can use to achieve to get an AQ, and you need to achieve 2 of the 3, but I can't remember what they are. Anyone?

The three criteria are Coaches Ranking, winning %, and RPI. You need 8 mathces at the weight entered for the Coaches Ranking. I think the same for winning %. I don't recall the number for RPI, but it is more - maybe 12?

Josh is already ranked #5 in the Coaches Ranking, and he's 8-0 at 157 - so I think he'll be OK.

Thanks Red Blades. As others have stated, good to see you back.
