Re: Manzona Bryant
Willie Saylor is NOT a Manzona Bryant fan…..
when replying to Austin Sommer tweet concerning Bryant entering portal:
“Manzona Bryant is a disaster I’m glad he’s gone “
Sommer then responds with the usual about Bryant bad gas tank but potential national qualifier potential at minimum etc and Saylor responds:
“He’s undisciplined, disrespectful, and for some reason a diva. Wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot poll”
Willie Saylor can be rough around the edges at times but I’ve never seen him callout a wrestler in that way…..

No thanks Willie. Not very becoming for a guy who owns/runs IM.
No need to publicly humiliate anyone -- for any reason -- and he's not even a stakeholder in Lehigh wrestling; he's merely a fan. Hard to believe he said it. Manzona Brynat IV spent 3 years in our room....had some nice wins: Bartlett, Murin, Demas = all were AAs. I wish him well.

And Manzona Bryant IV is best name since Vida Blue.
RIP Vida Blue.

Showed FLASHES, but obviously had issues whether academic, or of the HEAD variety.
Somewhat of a LONE-WOLF however, and his lack-of-respect towards Coach Santoro was noted on occasion.
Might be a good FIT with Coach Tim Flynn at West Virginia who coached my son at Edinboro, or possibly Coach Robie at Virginia Tech. Maybe a smaller D1 like a Lock Haven, or a Bloomsburg would be the proper shoe-size!

Funny, I thought West Virginia as well. VA Tech doesn't need him. He's from Ohio, so not sure he would stay in PA at a lower echelon school. We'll know soon enough. W VA, Mich State, Indiana, Purdue, Ohio U may have a roster spot at 157 which is where I believe he's headed. Sometimes a change in scenery is good. We'll see.

Interesting Willie has since deleted his posts, but people's reactions to his tweets are still there obviously.....I think his PR department got a hold of him lol.....
Hard to pull back your thoughts though once they are out there, the internet takes no prisoners.....
As a design major at Lehigh I could see one of the big state schools being a good fit for him, Ohio State won't want him I would think, so Indiana, Ohio U, Cleveland State or WVU make sense......he's from Indiana, moved to Columbus then went to boarding school at Western Reserve Academy south of Cleveland, Ohio about half way to Akron, Ohio.........
By the way Western Reserve Academy costs about the same as Lehigh per year if you are a boarding student......approximately 66K per year......43K per year if you are a day student

Re: Manzona Bryant
This is an unfortunate one. Always felt like Bryant was a wrecking ball in the first round and then would gas out for an agonizing comeback loss. But he wrestled like a championship contender for that round.
If he sorts out the conditioning issue he could still be a big name. I wish him well. My son enjoyed watching him boogie to his headphones while the rest of the team was warming up.

Agreed. The news didn't upset me. Maybe a new environment may work out better for him. Hope so.
