Here's PSU's story about the departing seniors: https://gopsusports.com/news/2024/2/26/ ... inale.aspx

Most annoying. The photo shows 10 wrestlers, but nowhere does the story tell us how many are graduating, nor who they are. The roster lists two grad students and eight seniors, so they're a good guess: Heard, Truax, Ball, Barraclough, Bartlett, Kerkvliet, Joe Lee, McHenry, Shunk, and Starocci.

Santoro has really leaned into load management; Cael may have screwed up.

Had to look up "load management". Originally thought it might have to do with constipation.

Under each school profile on Wrestlestat there is an eligibility chart that I assume is accurate.

It's an NBA term but applicable to Stanich & Crookham. Basketball fans hate it, they pay $250 to see LeBron and get some backup instead.

I notice many of our PRIME-TIME players showing the wear n tear of combat over an extended period of time. Burn-out also another popular/pertinent expression, as is mookie creativity with "load-management" concept stolen from Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Mekhi Lewis whom my son coached at nearby Bound Brook H.S. has frequently showed various stages of the aforementioned symptoms, and now Starocci. Also hearing some DARK rumors pertaining to Vito, but having no way to substantiate, "dark" will have to suffice.

Without elaborating, the STRENGTH training component amongst many of our grapplers for some time has been noted lacking in comparison to competitors of the same weight. Mandatory during the season but easily circumvented in the off season when at home and no one watching! And of course the MENTAL game, under-appreciated, but paramount when ALL other factors are equal. ;)
