Ended up sitting on his own butt giving up easy two….But Meyer wrestled well, nice opening takedown then his usual conservative match…. May have frustrated Wentzel in to the sloppy shot….

Call on Phillipi was correct…. Maybe a tad quick but he was flat…Mickey too busy looking at clock and not focused on what Hines was doing….good desperation attempt by Hines but embarrassing way to lose given the situation for Phillipi…Hines wrestled well though, that’s more the Hines I yhink we should expect….. even if he had lost was a good match for him….
We need to give Hines a little more credit. He never trailed in the bout until Phillippi scored a go-ahead TD w less than a minute to go in the bout. Mickey was trying to ride out the win when Hines scored the fall.

Who isnt giving Hines credit? I said he’d wrestled a great match even if he had lost…….go back to my original post on it on page 3…..just emphasizing how incredibly rare that finish was….

The final score was 26-9. Take away the defensive fall and Lehigh "only" beats the #15 team in the country 20-12.
I'm really not sure what your problem is.

My problem? I was making a statement, a correct statement i may add….. are you guys so shell shocked that you see this as some kind of insult? That damn, he’s just not giving US enough credit?

Be honest when they wrestle poorly and be honest when they wrestle well….they wrestled very well today, Hines wrestled very well, i guess i have to state that a 4th time…. But how many times in your life have you seen a defensive pin while losing with 3 seconds left in a match? I’ve wrestled and watched over 40 years of wrestling and i’ve never seen it happen that late in a match before…..just pointing out how unusual and how big a swing that was , its not some kind of creative insult, its just a statement of fact…. Good lord take a sedative….

Free tacos to all fans from El Jeffes since Lehigh got more than 12 TDs

Christina R of Sweden did not need balls to be king.
