Dagen Condomitti is interesting.

Local kid (Northampton) with some kind of Lehigh connection I think (HFO help :-)

Wrestled at 157 for Oregon St. but went as high as 172 in HS.

Just some food for thought.

Rutgers heavyweight Slavikouski has entered the portal joining PJ Casale. That leaves one unheralded 285 on their roster and no apparent recruits coming in at that weight.

I suppose they will be shopping too unless I missed something.

“Oregon State doesn’t recruit kids based on weight,” he said. “They pick you for how you wrestle. But I think I see myself at 165, maybe 157.”

Thta's a quote from a Lehigh Valley Live article after Condomitti's third place finish his senior year for Northampton......looks like he was out with injury most of his 2 years at Oregon State, only wrestled a couple community college kids and MFF out of a couple of those matches.....career DNP, 7,4,3 in PA states.........

Look, I like the young men from 149 to 184, but if there is talent that is too good to pass up in the portal, as in Top 12, you go get them, especially if they are 1 year grad transfers.

If we do not land a 184 where there now are 3 or 4 that would be an upgrade, then we are not working the portal hard enough. If we can land a 174 all the better also. Those are the most obvious urgent needs while younger guys still have a year to close the gap.

So, as a friend of the program and outside the loop, where should my donation go?

I just donated to that March Madness deal. Can do more.

Good question. That donation, as long as it was specified for wrestling, goes to support the program - all good.

As far as an "NIL collective", I'm not aware of one. Would be interested in seeing one started.

My initial donation was specified for wrestling. Now, unsure where to turn. Been thinking of e-mailing a coach or the Quinn lady for some direction but thought an answer might come from this forum.
