There must be a lot of discipline required to get and maintain those hairstyles.

Some upside with this crew. I watched Wilt and he's a large lad.

Wasn’t that Matt Rodriguez a super light 125? Too lazy to go back and look it up. 125 at Lehigh next year should be interesting, with several good guys who want the spot but nobody who’s clearly separated from the pack.

I’d give the edge at 125 to Seymour next year

Wilt and Jones won titles. Wilt just might be a playa.

Kimo lost to Alverez 10-2, but he's got some game.

Although the Lehigh contingent did well -- and the competition was decent -- the big news without question is Jax Forrest winning at 125 by fall in just :44 over an Ohio state champ tOSU red shirt. This after destroying former California state champ Andre Gonzalez (another tOSU back-up) by major decision. Jax Forrest goes to the head of the class! Not since Cary Kolat have we seen a high school wrestler this young beating credible college wrestlers. Isn't he just a high school freshman, or is he a soph? Just incredible.

I agree with mookie on Wilt -- he showed up. The Bucknell kid had him beat in the semis but he just wouldn't go down. Terrific fight from him. Needs to improve off the bottom (obviously) -- Leia as well is starting to hit his stride after a slow start. If I recall, he got crushed in his first tournament -- since the turn of the year, he has been trending. Losing to a veteran like Alvarez was kind of expected. Nice showing to make the finals.

I saw a Lehigh wrestler drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's...
.....his hair was PERFECT.

Who did Seymour lose to in the semi’s? I remember Voach Hughes telling me before he left to watch Leia as he was going to be a stud recruit.

Let’s hope Jax Forrest comes up to LVWC to work out. The frosh 107 pounder from Beth Catholic is another stud to watch & hopefully engage with Lehigh in some manner.
