I suppose you are trying to make a positive but, what is it?

Whiz, your use of the word "corollary" is certainly correct but that doesn't mean that the it is right.
Oracle said Cael has risen to the very top, once there, it is easer. Nobody would argue with that I think.
A better corollary says "everyone else has a tougher route to the top now" and that's all.
You are better with words than me I know, so be kind. :)

Point well taken. Can't argue with that.

Cornell climbing the leader-board with #4 Ohio State in their headlights! :o Big-Red clinches the IVY League title, and are prohibitive favorites at the post-season EIWA Championships.

The JERSEY-BOYS, Foca, and Cardenas raising some hell..

Cardenas looked really good this weekend vs good opponents and so did Ramirez. Hated to see Jon Loew go out there while still hurting, but he held it to a close match. The question is can he heal up by end of season. And, what’s the story with Fernandes? Even with those question marks it’s hard to think anybody else can win the EIWA. Darren Miller from Bucknell also looked really good beating Kazimir.

Take away any of the wrestling dynasties -- almost all of them -- and the sport generally would have infinitely more parity. Which isn't called mediocrity when it exists.

Sadly for the sport, it's never figured out how to avoid dynasties. They're always the sad truth, not the schools told to "get better." All top schools bust their asses and spend a fortune doing their best to compete.

I still like ties in almost any sport but baseball - and the championship finals of any other sport. The prospect of a tie adds an interesting dimension to sports, especially when there is a heavy favorite.
