Santoro did a fine job, but at some point it is time for new blood to breathe life into the program.

You're touching the "third rail "of Lehigh wrestling.

Ayres has a good thing going right where he is that he built from scratch. The grass isn’t always greener. Just ask Mark Cody.

At appropriate time, we’re fortunate to have solid options like McCoy, Dillon, Ayres, Rey developing; some will have bigger dreams, I doubt Power 5 will understand what Lehigh is about (real careers)

I don't think Borelli left Stanford because the grass was greener at American; he left because of the heavy dose of Agent Orange dropped on Stanford's grass.

I don't know that we'll be looking for a new head coach anytime soon, but the trend is towards younger coaches. Borelli is younger than Ayres, McCoy, and probably Dillon too. The times I've spoken with him he appears to be intelligent and forward-looking, very involved in things like improving seeding (something we'd all like to see). He's the kind of guy we should talk with.

My post had more to do with Borelli going to Stanford, which ended up not being as lucrative as he thought it would be.

How about the job Troy Nickerson did at UNC this year (about 70 miles north of me)? Took 3 to Tulsa with a champion and 2 round of 12 - all of which are back next year. Poulin found his way to Greeley from N.C. State. Of course our friend Tate found his way from Castle Rock (about 15 miles south of me) to Lehigh via Wyoming. I don't believe that UNC is even fully funded. Nickerson is from NY originally, if I am correct. Given the way Rutgers is trending...

He only stayed 13 years; couldn't have been too unhappy.

Chris would be a breath of fresh ayres but for a Jersey guy I'd go with Damian Hahn.
