I believe the answer from the NCAA was - no.

For me, this has been, in general, one of the most irrelevant, tiresome and overdone threads that I've seen on the LU Wrestling sites over the years. Maybe some of you guys should create your own site. You can call it "LU Wrestling war stories from the ancient past". My interest is in the current state of the program and fans' views as to where the program is likely to be going forward.

Whiz: what you say is true. No doubt.

It’s all been said. It’s early in the off season. This is what happens. As you have said in the past: don’t read it.

Or better yet, why don’t *you* start a topic and put *your* thoughts out there instead of always sitting back and kavetching? Go ahead bro, put yourself out there for once.

Actually, I've initiated a number of topics. But I suppose you were too busy showing off to notice. But just to make you happy, I'll start a new one. And by the way, you misspelled the word "kvetch" - not that I would have expected you to get it right.

You are such a child. But I like you anyway.
You know, when I’m not showing off or being a blowhard bully.

>>>>whiz-kid: All Lehigh Wrestling, PAST/PRESENT/FUTURE are relevant here I would assume, and would like to think the majority of viewers enjoy the step-back-in-time while watching many of our former NCAA CHAMPS in their prime. They had to have liked the titillating shot of KATE UPTON, in referee's position :o that I "cropped" discreetly into the 1962 NCAA Tournament finals featuring Lehigh great Kirk Pendelton. Now knock yourself out pal, find-it,..and LICK-THE SCREEN-CLEAN! :P

PAT SANTORO: Although not a Lehigh NCAA champ, he did win a couple titles for Pitt., and if not for Lehigh's Peter Yozzo he would have had another! :o

Pat's been an outstanding coach at Lehigh,.. and beats-out Iowa's Tom Brands for BEST-DRESSED!

BTW,..any additional footage of past LEHIGH-GREATS is appreciated under this heading.

LU history is pretty thin after 1980.

Perhaps not as concentrated as the truly great periods further back. HOWEVER, there is a ton of history there as post-1980 includes some NCAA champs Burley, Rohn's miracle, Ruppel, Darian, ZRey, and a ton of other greats like Trenge and NBrown, Coop and others. Huge bunches of EIWA titles. Of course you can make any claim you want around here, but you can print your post out...fold it up...and bring it back to the van you live in down by the river.
