There was a lot of that in the 60s. Tie up for a few seconds, break away, back off, shake your arms, circle, back in.
When DRD wrote Mat Power over 25 years ago we did a lot of stats (Geek Stats we called them). Scoring by era was one. That era didn't fare too well.
