Humpheys Appeal denied by NCAA
Re: Humpheys Appeal denied by NCAA
Not good. But I see that a 157 from N. Colorado, Tayten Gillette, just entered the portal. Would fit in well on the same team as Michael Beard.

It was a long shot so no surprise. All the best to a very rugged dude.

Disappointed, but not surprised…..NCAA let’s everything go these days but decides to drop anchor on the head of a stellar student athlete…. Makes sense
He was a good one, looked forward to every time he took the mat…..wish him well

He was SOO brutal on top it was painful to watch!
Re: Humpheys Appeal denied by NCAA
I suppose it doesn't really matter but did the NCAA rule on it or did Lehigh?

Well that makes 125 -. 184 highly contested. About only weights fairly predictable are 197 and 285.
The competition is good. Having about 8 undecided weights going into a season in era of 6th/7th year eligibility is not so good.
There is talent in room just needed 3-4 to take that next big step. Hines did it this year and even he will be highly contested to hold his spot.
Personally I like it. Hold a real Lehigh Wrestle Off this year where winner holds spot until Holiday Break. Then start tweaking lineup after Holiday tournaments.

The biggest problem with having two fairly equal guys share a weight, with fairly similar result is that neither will get as good a seed as if it were just one guy
