How many matches does Stanich need? Assume he could get a non D1 wrestler here????

I do not understand why others on the team don't enter these events. Why would you just practice and not compete?

He has 11. Needs 4 against Div I opponents, at weight, to qualify for an RPI ranking.

Just a guess, no inside info -- he wrestles Sunday (two weeks after his last dual), then in two weeks in the Bucknell dual, then in two more weeks in the Arizona State dual, then in two more weeks at EIWAs. Kutler couldn't make the cut in 2017, but he'd been injured or ill and hadn't competed for six weeks before EIWAs. The every-other-week approach limits Luke's weigh-ins but also makes sure that he can still do it.

Starters aren't going to go to these tournaments, except in unusual cases like Stanich, or a weight still open (149). Leaves out 8 guys. It's on Sunday, maybe some guys have assignments due on Monday. Edinboro is the next weekend, we'll probably have a contingent headed there; last year we had 12 at MT2, 14 at Edinboro, 17 different wrestlers. We know of a few injuries, there are bound to be more. 15 left to compete sounds reasonable.

Must have just happened- I looked a few hours ago. And we're the only team showing so far- 1 kid from Pitt.
Added weights (I don't think any surprises)

BP-LU87, you're being obvious. The prior posting speaks for itself. Under no circumstances should any member of the site write anything that is even arguably obvious. Otherwise, that person may be reprimanded.

Remember, folks. Only original insights will be protected from criticism here.

Flo Arena has been showing some guys for a few days. 11 at 125, 7 D1, 2 in Military preps, 2 in RTCs, so 7 + Stanich + Wadle.
so 2 likely for Luke, 3 Reasonable. 4 possible if a few more D1 enter. but maybe those names were just a test.

Note. with all the talk about schedules in the future. I think we should keep AzSU, either every other year or two years on and two years off. Means everyone will get a chance for mid winter trip to the desert once in a career. bring some extra guys for the trip.
