Believe your onto somethin' pal,..makes sense, but initially I was thinkin' WHY enter such a meaningless tourney and jeopardize your ranking, or more importantly,.. risk injury! :?

Jimmy Carr was the first HS entry to the Midlands.

Jimmy Carr is a bit of conundrum. He was not eligible in PA for 1973-1974, obviously not a problem in Kentucky a state its main college in the SEC. Not sure if it was age, more likely years in HS.

In any case JC was 18 yrs, 11 months old. Probably younger guys have one it since. Maybe Stanich

Nothing against him though. Wrestling for Fletcher and Joe was likely a mistake
