Oh it was great excitement, too bad about the announcer. I couldn't just ignore him. But yes a win is a win and with several 2nd and 3rd stringers. Fill up the middle weights and you have a helluva team. Like Wilt, willing to give Herceg the benefit of the doubt, he wrestled maybe their top guy but I just don't understand Logan. But yes, we won.martinsilvestri wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 3:58 pmMaybe so but hey, as Easton said, a win's a win for today. Was fun to watch with everybody. Til next time!

Yeah... i see your viewpoint, JAD.JAD77 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 3:57 pm I think the answer to that one is fairly obvious - too bad, as Connor would have won easily there. But if he’s not going to be the starter, then why struggle to maintain weight at 133?
Love watching Sheldon Seymour wrestle. The kid is non stop action.
And big Nate just keeps getting better and better.
Team this year has a LOT of holes. Unlike years past - a much better tournament team than dual team (I say hopefully).
The emotion of the dual got a hold of yours truly here.

Re: LU v Army
Pretty sure Army chose top in the third for that very reason….Richb-3 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 3:46 pm My feed stopped for some reason at 8 sec to go which was actually the worst it was looking for Brignola, then I tweaked something and saw the last 30 seconds.
When Beard was given choice with a 14 point lead at the start of the third period period. he should have taken top to try to get the pin. And if not he still ends up with the TF

Re: LU v Army
When you have a guy like Crookham at 133 it causes a lot of guys to abandon the weight class. Can only assume nobody else can make the weight so you can thank Ethan Smith for heading out there and taking a beating because if we forfeit that weight we lose the dual meet.

Re: LU v Army
Ethan Smith a small 125 in his only two dual starts has wrestled at 133 and 141 this year and did his best…..been teched both times but avoided getting pinned in both…..takes a lot of heart, well done by him……
