W over Chumbley from NW 9-1
W over Swenson from SDSU 1-0
W by fall over Ed Scott from NC State in 1:09
W over Peyton Robb from Nebraska 12-10
Finishes his run in consi’s by getting pinned by Stanford’s Cardenas in placement round then wins by pin over VT Andonian to finish 5th…nice run by the Bobcat

Feel like I should RETRACT my comment about Cornell being a disappointment, as they have wrestled their balls-off in the Consys to slide into 3RD Place. :o

3 All Americans. 1 that got away. Hines a former R12. I hope everyone is back. Overall, it is a big step forward. The downside, it felt like we left winnable matches out there in consolations. Going 0-8 for 4 wrestlers was not expected. I was expecting 8 wins from that group.

Consistency and grit until last second is the difference at NCAA. We just didn't have it. Seeing some of the guys who took 6 or 7 in wrestlebacks is amazing. Bethlehem Catholic true freshman for Penn State achieved an amazing feat. Hard to believe just 5 week ago he was still fighting for his spot on varsity.

Pat has a lot to work with if they all come back. I am hoping they do. I still think it is critical to land at least two Top 12 wrestlers who are grad transfers from 165 to 184. We just are not there yet to be nationally competitive at those weights.

Great surprises this season. We got wrestlers to QF and SF. It was a successful year for the TEAM. The entire organization has much to be proud of. Once again, I doubt you will see another Lehigh All-American athlete this year other than wrestlers, so once again, hopefully the Athletic Administration gives them their due. And that admissions does what it can to get some of these elite guys in who are not at 1350 SAT, but still very good students in the 1100 SAT range.

I thought SAT scores were now persona non grata in college admissions?

As Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast, my friend."
Brown, Dartmouth, and Yale have all announced they are reinstating SAT scores as a requirement.

Colleges nationwide have been updating their coronavirus-era policies on standardized testing, which many dropped when the pandemic shut down in-person testing centers. Some of the most selective schools are declaring they will require tests again — including, across the last two months, Dartmouth College and Yale and Brown universities.

I understand they're changing it to make it less .... um ..... "discriminatory". You know, there'll be questions about LeBron James, etc., etc.

A question about LeBron is likely to help Chinese more than blacks
