Back on TheMat...
I KNOW that w/ the Ivies & FM not participating (meaning CORNELL/Princeton), the conference is in "down" mode.
But a lot of hardcore Mat forum fans are seriously HATING that the EIWA's got the 45 qualifiers.
I GET IT!
But the continue The Rant! (the B1G cry because they can't get ALL their wrestlers that participate in the tournament, into the NCAA's :P )
I "wish" that we can nab a decent share of (for a "down" mode conference) AA's and rnd of 12'ers this March, JUST TO SHUT THEM UP!

I'll say that I don't think EIWA should have gotten 45 qualifiers. How hard would have been to subtract the Ivy guys (rd of 12?) over the 5 yr period?
The hate on themat is legitimate. We're going to see a lot of eiwa guys in pigtails. 32 & 33 seeds.
But hope for a few upsets, and unexpected AAs to balance things out. My 2 cents.

Agree completely with our founder, Mr. Asa Packer.

That said, the team came ready to rumble today. Far and away their best performance of the year.
Our 4 #1 seeds all won, and every other man wrestled above their seed. Hell of a job.

Can I assume Bucknell's Hartman was OW? Defeating a 2 time champ?

Ogunsanya looked really tough also.
