Clowns who selected Simon (horrible reputation at UVA with Phi Kappa Psi incident) and Helble.

Just so everyone knows, you can go into IPEDS database. Lehigh thus far with College of Health Population has graduated just 23 graduates. It is a $100 million plus boondoggle. Counter that to DeSales U, College of Health Professions which has made a major impact in Lehigh Valley with Physician's Assistant Program, Physical Therapy, Occupational Medicine and Doctorate in Nursing. With a hell of a lot less money changing the lives of their graduates and contribution to clinical medicine in the Lehigh Valley.

Lehigh is essentially doing squat. A few studies on American Indian Tribes of the Plains and Health Outcomes. The whole entire department has been already hijacked by a couple of nutballs. Just go to a citations database to see how little any of the crap coming out of College of Health Population is cited by others or published in significant journals. It is an utter disgrace thus far.

Meanwhile, Alice Gast forced out at Lehigh went onto an incredible 8 years run at prestigious Imperial College London, meanwhile, Lehigh has swirled down the toilet bowl.

How many graduates would you expect to have had? The building was completed in 2021 and the first undergraduates won't be able to enroll until this coming fall.

This school of health was formulated during the COVID flurry of data driven analytics during that time. It was a fad to be able to post data & projections around the world.

Lehigh really missed the boat during Alice Gast era when St. Luke’s approached Lehigh to partner with them on a medical school & they shunned the opportunity.

That could have complimented our strength in biology & chemistry & we could have parlayed that with the Business school to develop & hospital management program.

Rich Anderson as CEO of St. Luke’s went forward with Temple instead & has created the most robust health care system in the Valley & gained National acclaim in virtually every area of medicine.

Alice & the board really dropped the ball on this IMO & now have a research albatross that can’t find its way into a meaningful arena that prepares our graduates for leadership roles available in the health care industry. This College should be brought under the Business school in my mind & try to reconnect with St. Luke’s for that business aspect of health care.

Lehigh had an obvious connection. not just that the campuses were 1/4 mile apart, but that Asa Packer founded both.

But from our standpoint, the worst Alice G legacy is that she could not find a Position for Spencer Lee's Dad when he wanted a position at LU, instead going to CMU
