Re: Penn
Yeah, mushrooms are a poor addition. I've had steaks with a few hot peppers and they were an ok variation. What I can't fathom is the Valley penchant for putting a load of thick, gloppy tomato based sauce on top of the poor cheesesteak.

Re: Penn
Could not agree more with this. If you're deviating from Pat's and/or Geno's in the least you shouldn't be calling it a cheesesteak anymore.
Re: Penn
The best sauce on a cheese steak is 2/3 quality marinara and 1/3 steak sauce. Maybe a little less sauce is better.

Re: Penn
I get that - sometimes guys act like raging a-holes intentionally to get a psychological edge... Berger is notorious for this which is why I brought him up. Watch the Final X match against Retherford (and following interview with Zain) to get a good example. But whatever, like a good heel in pro-wrestling fans love to hate these folks, it makes things more interesting at least, especially when our guy gets the revenge win like on Saturday. I appreciate that Santoro and his staff aren't into that stuff. And for what it's worth I never thought poorly about Penn prior to this season, but I was out of the fan loop too so not privy to what others were saying.
PS im with philly style - not really a big fan of the red sauce as served around here. i remember some good LV-style steaks at goodman stadium years ago, though
Re: Penn
While we're busy knocking Penn, just remember, Reina was the holdout in leaving the EIWA - he was very much opposed.
Re: Penn
Penn came in tied for 4th. Not like they weren't relevant. They were rated for 3rd, and missed by 5 points to Army.
Did some of their guys stumble or crap the bed? Yes. But, in my view, Gallgher, Composto, Swisher (over-ranked coming in), and Revano all wrestled to about where they were expected. Their 133 was the big disappointment and Max Hale at 184.
Wasn't too long ago LU fans were lamenting their teams' performances the same way.

>>>>>Well——some Lehigh posters specialize in lamentation. It will begin again as soon as a Lehigh wrestler doesn’t earn bonus points or, heaven forbid, actually losses a match at the NCAAs against a top opponent.
